Mr. Shea has been playing piano and composing professionally for two decades. He spent 1975-87 as house pianist at the legendary El Chapultepec Club, backing such great artists as Eddie Harris, Jerome Richardson and Joe Turner. He worked regularly with the Brazilian Band, Bridges, and Denver's premiere salsa group, Conjunto Colores. In 1987 he moved to Boston, where he played with the late blues singer Jellybelly, the Artie Shaw Band, and the Either/ Orchestra. Mr. Shea has composed new concert music including "Wyoming," an orchestral fantasy recorded for MMC Records by the Slovak Radio Orchestra. He writes, records and tours with his own ensemble, the Michael Shea Quartet. Their most recent CD, 'Last Night While You Slept,' is now available.

James Kamal Jones has been a professional musician for over twenty-five years. He was a five-year member of Ornette Coleman's group, Prime Time. He has also been the heart of rhythm sections for such renowned and diverse musicians as Roberta Flack, The Delphonics, Cab Calloway, Yusef Lateef, Jack McDuff, and Al King.
Fulani Haynes has graced countless of stages, theater houses, television,
radio and film productions for 30 years in the New England area.
Her accomplishments have been printed in local and regional publications as well as several television/radio commercials that have been aired nationally. |
